I've always been a storyteller...

At the heart of it copywriting, to me, is no different than telling any other story. Of course, unlike your average story, copywriting usually comes with goals like SEO optimisation, improving web traffic and boosting sales. Without a passion for storytelling though, how can you keep an audience gripped and willing to convert? That's where I come in.

Starting from an artistic background, I've always taken a creative approach to copywriting. I understand data and trends, and more importantly how to put both to good use, but what's given me an edge over my years of varied experience is my ability and passion to tell a good story.

My copywriting journey so far

My love for storytelling actually began with visual media, animated films to be precise. I trained as an animator when I was a student, but I always had a passion for writing stories more than anything. Then while I was studying for my Master's degree I discovered social media marketing.

I learned quickly that a platform I had just been using to keep in touch with friends was actually a powerful tool that could connect brands with an audience. The perfect medium to tell stories that could have a major impact on the success of any business.

Since then I've used my creative edge and background to craft engaging content for a series of blogs, magazines, social media channels, paid social media ads, websites and a book across a variety of different industries. In my portfolio, you'll see just how far I've come and the passion I have for writing.
